I have not been buying many things during these past few months, mostly because I am on a forced budget so I can buy a camera, which I bought a few months ago, but somehow Fedex managed to loose and now I am re-saving to re-buy another one.
However, I have managed to indeed buy a few things here and there. If you are a usual reader of this blog you may recognize a few items that I have previously styled. So here are my faves for the month of November!
- 1. STATEMENT EARRINGS
I have a post on these two earrings, but i had to mention them as my favorites, especially the silver hoops. I can not take them off! I think they are quite glamorous but edgy at the same time.
The “Princess Yasmine” earrings are quite heavy so I do not use them as much, but nonetheless still like them
2. THE 90’S CAT EYES
I have seen the cat eye sunnies on almost all instagammers, however, they are usually smaller. I knew that those would not look good on me at all! so i decided to pass on that trend. However, I was walking around Forever21 on a gloomy day of November and I spot these, they were the only ones in the stand. They immediately caught my attention because of the cat eye shape but they are a tad bigger than the usual cat eye. At first I thought they would look horrendous on me, but oh how wrong i was! surprisingly they do not.
These sunglasses became the it on the sisterhood of the traveling sunglasses, lol, because they look good on me and on my sisters as well, and we all have different face shapes, how weird is that?
3. RED LIP by KAT VON D
I love a classy red lip, but it is kind of difficult to find a shade that goes with my skin tone, this red liquid lipstick is the perfect shade of true red; I bought this liquid lipstick from Sephora and it is part of the Kat Von D collection of liquid lipsticks. I think her collection of liquid lipsticks is the BOMB because they last the longest and once they dry they are super matte.
I would recommend to line your lips first with an lipliner because, if you have smaller lips like me, the wand can make things alittle messy, especially in the inner corners of the mouth.
4. SHARPIE PEN
This is pen is the only non fashion-beauty related item: if peek around my blog or my youtube channel you’ll know that i love everything bullet journal related, so in my quest to find the perfect pen, I stumbled across this sharpie pen. I know these pens have been around for a really long time, but i was scared of the pen bleeding into the pages of my journal. Fortunately, the pen did not bleed onto the other pages, maybe a little but nothing upsetting.
5. RED BOOTS
I have been haunting a pair of shinny red boots for quite some time, I got this boots from forever21 and in comparison to other boots that I have been eyeing they were pretty inexpensive (remember that I am in a forced budget… F*U FEDEX!). I think they are pretty comfortable, and my fave they are true to size. I wear a 5.5 and usually for this size things can go very wrong, sometimes brands would make too small or too wide or too large. But these babies did not and I am glad I bought them. I am not sure if they are still on stock, but I will link them anyway, along with the other red boots I had my eyes on before settling for these.
