And April is gone. This month passed by in the blink of an eye which I find to be insane. Now we are moving to the 5th month of the year. I have been trying to catch up with my social media & blog, but i have been so unmotivated its not even funny anymore. I swear, the only thing I want to do during the weekend is to chill and watch the Office, by the way I can’t stand Jim Halbert. Anyway, here are my April 2019 favorites.
PEARL HAIR CLIPS
I am living for the pearl hair clips at the moment. These cuties are from She Inside and they came in a set of two. I was pretty impressed by the quality considering they were only $3. I love wearing them together, even if they are a tad big, because they makes the whole outfit look so chic.

BLACK BELT BAG
Another She Inside buy, which comes in the form of this belt bag. The belt is long enough for different waist sized, and the material is pretty thick and soft. This bag satisfies that need of a chic belt bag because it is quite fancy looking. Also, I love the fact that you can take out the bag and use the belt as a regular belt.

This one is super cute too
BIKER SHORTS (DIY)
I love the biker/cyclist shorts trend at the moment, however, I was really on the fence about buying a pair of shorts that I could not use on a regular basis. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and cut the legs off of a pair of old yoga pants I had lying around. Honestly, I don’t like buying things just for the sake of buying them. I love trends and I love how the cyclist shorts look with blazers and oversized shirts. I am not willing to spend on things I would not be using on a regular basis, thus I decided to DIY it. Fake it till you make it right?
The last fashion item of the my April 2019 favorites is this beige blazer from She Inside as well. Is this post a She Inside haul or what? I have been meaning to get a beige blazer because it is a pretty trendy at the moment, and also because it is a great basic item to have. This blazer is a men’s blazer. Since it is a men’s blazer it is oversized on me, but not in a horrible way. I really like the color of this blazer and the fact that it has actual pockets is amazing.

TATCHA: THE SILK CAMBAS PRIMER
As a owner of bad skin (oily, acne prone, acne scarred, uneven tone etc) I need a primer that leaves my skin smooth and soft looking. I am always on the lookout for primers that have a blurring effect and that does not make my skin oily. A Sephora associate recommended the Tatcha silk cambas primer which has a blurring effect. To be honest, I first hated this primer. It made me oily in the first hour I wore it under my foundation. However, I continued using it and the side effect of the primer making my skin oily disappeared. Now I love how my make up looks when I wear this primer underneath. My acne scars are not as visible and my make up lasts longer.
