Hey there, hope you guys are doing well. Over here is that time of the month where I narrate what where my faves from the previous month. Also, it is the time where I complained that the previous month flew by, which it did. I am super excited in the fact that the summer is almost over and I can’t wait for fall-winter fashion. Meanwhile these are my august favorites:
The first of my august favorites are these red sunglasses from Sheinside (check’em out here). I really like the cool futuristic sunglasses trend that we saw this summer and these fit perfectly into that description. The quality is actually pretty good and they make any outfit look cooler than it actually is.
Along with the red sunglasses, I also bought this clear vinyl bag. I loved the clear vinyl bag which is def having a moment this season. I really like the handles of this bag and the quality is pretty good as well. Similarly, to the sunglasses, this bag was pretty cheap but it looks really good.
In case you haven’t noticed, I am not doing bullet journal set ups anymore and that is because I stopped bullet journaling. The reason being is that I got annoyed by it. I used to be so passionate about my bullet journal but I lost the passion along the way and I even stopped using it. For me being organized and productive is very important so my other option was to get a new planner. I actually did some research before purchasing a planner, however, I was looking for something where I could easily transition.
I bought this Brilliant Planner from Mochi Things and so far so good. The paper on this planner is amazing and thick, also I like the fact that this planner is undated. It has enough space to use for at least two years. Also, I like that next to weekly view there is a blank page for you to write your to-do’s for that week. Probably, I will stop using this planner by next year because I really want to get an Erin Condren planner.

in case y’all havent noticed it yet, my favorite type of accessory are necklaces. Medallion necklaces are def having a moment and I am not planning on staying away from the trend. Personally, I do like medallion necklaces and I used to own two, however, I lost both. So I was looking for a replacement when I stumble into this set in H (and) M. I have been using this necklace almost every day and staggered it with another thin necklace. The quality is not that great, I can already see the stain these types of necklaces get. However, I am enjoying the moment this necklace is giving me.
LIFE AFTER DEATH BY DAMIEN ECHOLS (ON AUDIBLE)
If you read my favorites for the month of July (check it out here), I mentioned Paradise Lost, the documentaries about the West Memphis Three. This audiobook is narrated by Damien Echols, the teenager who was sentenced to death. The book goes from his time in death row to his childhood, to death row back to his childhood all the until he is taken to jail. What I love about this book is that you get an insight to who he is as a person. He does not discusses the case at all, he briefly mentions it when he first heard about it, and then again when he was interrogated, and of course when he was arrested for it. Also, Damien is such a smart person, he is very poetic and the book is very well written/narrated. I would highly recommend it if you like this case and want to get an insight of who Damien Echols is.
This are my august favorites! What were some of your fave items from august? I would love to know!
