I love wearing button down shirts. It is a nature of mine to gravitate towards shirts: to go to work, when running errands, when I have a belly going on (it happens), to be at home etc. A simple button down shirt offers so many options to style and it does not have to be boring!
One of my fave prints for shirts and summer shirts are stripes. If the stripes are of a light color better! especially the banker stripes, which are still pretty in at the moment because, honey, its a classic.
Here, I styled the banker striped shirt for a casual hang out. In this case going for coffee!
I am wearing the banker striped shirt by Gant. I am obsessed with the quality of these shirts (check the other one from my previous post here) because they are so soft. Also, the cut of the shirt is so flattering that it will look great on all body types. Also, I have a 20% off discount so grab yo’ shirt and use JulieR20 on the check out!
For bottoms, I am wearing my straight leg cropped pants from ASOS petite. I am still obsessed with these pants because I really like the high waist and the quality of the fabric is pretty good. Bag wise, I have my waist bag/fanny pack on my waist. I love using this bag when I go out to bars and dancing, because you are experiencing life bag and hands free! Mine is from Urban Outfitters and I found are similar ones here and here.
I chose to wear my contrast sling back shoes, which you have see me wear a thousand times. Mine are from Choies.com but are not available anymore. I had a pretty hard time finding similar shoes so I linked some down below. I like how the shoes and shirt add an element of classiness. On the other hand, the waist bag and denim add a edgy feel to the outfit.
Another way I would style this shirt is with a white button down midi skirt (like this one). Or even a short skirt if you ain’t feeling the midi skirt vibes.
