Having oily skin when it is incredible hot outside is one of the worst feelings ever! It is not only the oiliness but the fact that sometimes it will mix with the sweat from the hot day. To top everything out, if you have acne prone skin you will get some pimples because everything will mix and cover your pores. Check my accutane/skin journey here! To save you from unwanted pimples and unwanted excessive oil I gathered a list of products I have been using lately to keep my oils under control. Thus, acne under control. Also, I mentioned previously some of this products on my makeup/ beauty routine here. So here are my favorite summer beauty products for oily-acne prone skin:
During the summer the best thing to apply first is SPF to not damage your skin. The only SPF that does not make me oily is this one by Shiseido.

I have used tones of moisturizers over the years after learning that if you don’t moisturize your skin will be more oily. The best moisturizer out there for oily skin is the Zero oil moisturizer by Origins. This one keeps me matte throughout the day, and I know it is thanks to this moisturizer because I have applied it when I am at home without make up and I am matte throughout the day. Plus it has mint on it and it smells AMAZING!

The second beauty products for oily-acne prone skin I would recommend is Urban Decay’s Optical Illusion Primer. What i like about this one is that it blurs a little bit my acne scars. Also, it does help your make up stay longer and it is not heavy or oily.
Rain forest of the Sea Foundation by Tarte
This foundation has been my go to during the summer. I like how light weight it is with medium to buildable coverage and it does not make me oily. Also, because it is so light weight it does not break me out.

Stay Matte by Rimmel
I have been using this setting powder for years because it is the only one that keeps me matte for a long time. During the summer I don’t use much because I don’t want my foundation looking caky, so just some will do, until I get oily again then I reapply. You can find this pressed powder in any Target, Walmart or your nearest drugstore.
Shadow and Light Palette by Kat Von D
I believe that the best products to use when you oily skin are powders. I like cream contour as well, however, I find that the cream doesn’t last that long on my skin. So the solution is to use powder. There are many to choose, but the Kat Von D one is really good because of the range of colors.

*got oily skin: keep highlighter to a minimum because it will mix with your oiliness + sweat making you look shinier.
And that is it for this list, hope you find it helpful!
