I am trying to do a bit more lifestyle posts for you guys! So what is more lifestyle than all the time some one spends on their phones right? I love when I get to experiment with new apps, especially the ones I have discovered to edit my Insta stories, so here they are some my favorite lifestyle apps I use on almost a daily basis, and some I used to edit my Insta pics or Insta stories. To check how I style denim on denim click on my previous post click over here.
Favorite iphone apps :Lifestyle
My first favorite Iphone app is Headspace. I have been into meditating lately because it has helped so much with my anxiety , however I find it quite difficult to achieve that mental state without help. This is where Headspace comes in, I like how they have meditation for different types of life situations that come in packs of 30: like managing anxiety, sleep, and depression. And some that come in singles like meditation for exams, feeling overwhelmed, panicking, losing your temper (i should be doing this one more often cuz your girl has a temper).
Last month I had to cancel my gym membership because I moved from my apartment, which was literally 5 minutes away from the gym. I was kind of bummed, but I used to dance back in the day and I know that I don’t need some machines to exercise. And the hunt for an exercise app began, I downloaded some apps that were free to download but you had to pay to access the exercises. Until I stumble on the 7M women, what I like about this app is that one is free, and two is that they offer tons of different exercise sessions that last between 7 to 15 minutes, some of the sessions are for beginners and others are for intermediate.
I am a dedicated sleepy head, I usually do sleep my 8 hours full, sometimes 9-10 if I am tired, so it’s nice to keep track of your sleep patterns and that is what Sleepcycle does and it comes with pretty cool features: This app measures your sleep waves, like at the time you were in deep sleep, if you snore it records you for a little bit, it helps you keep track of how you sleep during the night, the week, the month and the year; the average hours you were in bed, the average for everything I mentioned above, your sleep patterns depending on the weather, if you exercised during the day, if you drank coffee or tea, if you ate too much before going to sleep and i think that’s pretty much it. pretty cool huh?
I am pretty new on podcasts, for the most part I use podcasts for entertainment and listening to stories of true crime. My favorite podcast is My Favorite Murder, but lately I have been trying to get more into listening to finances, self-growth, lifestyle and blogging. If I find something that tickles me I”ll keep you posted.
Favorite iphone Apps: Edit
I use Unum to plan my Instagram feed, I am obsessed with making everything visually appealing, so I do need to see in advance how the photos I am planning on posting look like with the rest of my grid. Also, the other cool thing about UNUM is that you can see your your top best posts for the month and the week, you can see your top 10 best hashtags and the best times to post according to how previous posts did, pretty cool huh? and for FREE
this is a vintage camera filter, it has around 7 old camera filter like the 70’s filter (which is my favorite). Also, the app has this cool sound effect of an old camera that you can keep or remove for your videos.
My second favorite iphone apps is Inshoot. This is the coolest app to edit both video and photo, but specially video, you can edit your insta stories here, add music, it has cool filter and effects and more!
This app is my latest find and my favorite, it is for both Insta stories, and they have tons of really minimal and classy set ups. It comes with a free one, but I bought the FF1 for $ 1.99 and I dont regret it at all! I feel that this app’s presets matches my brand perfectly.
You can use this app to edit photos, I normally edit my pic in Lightroom from my laptop, but once I transfer the pic to my phone, the pic may look a little dark so I like to use snapseed to tweak it.
Yep that is the round up of my favorite iphone apps, What are your favorite apps? Or podcasts since I am already on the topic, I would love to know!
