Winter is finally here! This is my favorite favorite season. Except for the fact that people tend to get sick a lot and it is contagious. For the last two weeks, I have been sick the with most annoying cough. I could not speak properly for three days in a row. Putting aside my sickness, I love this season because it is the season of the cozy blankets, peppermint mochas, and cozy knits. Also, I love winter wear in general. Lately, I have been loving a classy-chic Neutral Winter Outfit.
This trend has definitely take off on instagram. Neutral Winter Outfit (s) with light colors are so IN, in comparison with past seasons were we see a lot of darker tones for winter. Especially with whites, camel and beige tones.
For this look, I am wearing white cropped wide leg denim pants from H&M. You may have seen me wearing these pants previously on this post here & here. Also, I am wearing this super comfy and cozy knit sweater in an oatmeal color from H&M as well.
To add more layers, I am wearing a brown-ish/ beige-y colored oversized blazer from Forever21. I got this blazer a long time ago on the F21 sale. I think I got it for $5 or so. For shoes, I am wearing my favorite boots at the moment. Which are these western boots from Zara (here). I like how the dark burgundy boots are a muted pop of color to this neutral winter outfit.
This look is made out of things I already had on my closet from past seasons. I bought the pants for the summer. Also, The coat and knit sweater I have own them for years. Well everything except the boots, which add the “trendiness” to this outfit, which is pretty timeless.
Due to the fact that “Baby it’s cold outside,” I am experimenting with my layering to make it appear more fashionable and chic. By layering different pieces that are of similar tones (not siblings but maybe cousin tones) you can make an outfit look more chic and sophisticated.
