Before I begin discussing the spring 2019 trends, I just want to state for the record that I love each and every one of these, hence they are on the list. I apologize for being repetitive on how much I like them.
CAMEL MONOCHROME OUTFIT
My first favorite of the spring 2019 trends is everything camel. This trend really hit it off last year during the spring summer 2018 and we continue to see it. I am so glad it is still a thing because neither last year nor during the winter I was able to style a whole camel monochrome outfit. I am planning on wearing a suit in a lighter fabric on this tone. Also, the camel monochrome looks amazing on a camel toned shirt and pants.
The satin trend has been around for a couple of seasons as well. I believe everything started with the leopard trend. The leopard skirt were usually made of satin, then i believe the skirts came out in more simple and basic tones. Mine is from Zara (here), and I love the neutral tone and def the length of the skirt. In addition, satin midi dresses that look like camisoles are very trendy as well.
COLORFUL SUITS: SAGE AND GOLD YELLOW
The third of my favorite spring 2019 trends that you and i have to try this season are colorful suits. Suits have been around in the fashion world for a couple of years now. However, I feel that the trend exploded last year. Compared to previous years were the suits came on checks, this spring 2019 the suits are going to be more colorful and bright. We are seeing suits in gold yellow and on this beautiful shade of green.
My heart fills with happiness when I see these dreamy dresses. This trend is not that popular but nonetheless I am living for it. I don’t really have that much to say other than they are indeed a spring 2019 trend and you should have one for the summer. Also, they are so fun and dreamy…
Obvi linen is a no brainer when it comes to summer. It is probably the fabric of the season because it is light and breathable. I am def loving linen suits at the moment (blazer + pants). Technically, everything you can put your hands on which is made of linen and you are set for the spring summer season.
RUNNING SHORTS or CYCLIST BERMUDA
When this trend first came out last year I hated it, however, this year I am seeing it in under a new light. Now I am loving it. This season the shorts are a little longer than last year, also they are coming out in the new spring colors, like sage. Check these out from Mango. I really like how the running shorts in sage look with colorful blazers. I am def planning on wearing the running shorts in black and with a black or white blazer on top to upgrade the outfit to a more chic look.
90’S INSPIRED HEELED SANDALS
I saw on episode of Friends in which Monica Geller was wearing the exact same sandals that are flooding our instagram feeds. I wish I would have taken a pic because i don’t remember which episode it is. If that is not a good reason to wear this sandals then I don’t know what to say. Usually, I don’t wear sandals. I don’t know why it is just out of my comfort zone and I am not used to them. However, I am really vibing with these sandals. Also, the fact that they have a small heel is helpful to the cause since they will elongate your legs.
These sandals are coming out in a variety of colors, such as white, black and red.
