Hey there! I have been so MIA lately it is not even funny anymore. To be honest, I have been so busy with work during the week and refused to leave my home during the weekends. On another note, I have been trying to use the winter clothes I already on my closet. Creating new outfits is my new hobby. My biggest regret before the winter started was that I did not buy a nice heavy coat. And, since I don’t own a nice heavy coat, I have to layer a bunch of clothes to keep warm. But I also want to look stylish and not to heavy. Turtle neck tops are a winter basic need and knowing how to style them underneath dresses, shirts, v-neck body suits. Styling them is a whole art on its own.
I have been loving the look of a turtle neck top underneath shirts or v-neck body suits. I think it looks super chic-vintage. For this look, I am wearing a long sleeve, turtle neck black top. Underneath, the turtle neck I am wearing a white button down shirt.
For pants, I am wearing cropped straight leg denim from Asos. I usually wear skinny jeans during the winter because it is easier to layer with leggings underneath when it’s super cold outside.
Layering is a turtle neck top is whole art form in its own. Sometimes you might end up looking like Hulk…
For my middle piece, I am wearing this emerald green blazer from WhoWhatWear Target Collection. You might have seen me wearing this blazer on my Christmas post here. I bought the whole suit, however, I am only wearing the blazer. I really like the quality of this blazer because it is heavy and it keeps you warm. You can check the blazer here.
For the second look, I just changed pants. I am wearing this wide leg ocre pants from ASOS. This second look is a little more office wear friendly, meanwhile the first is a more casual outfit.
